My name is Steve Tyler, I’m the Director of Technology at triPRACTIX. I often joke that I’m responsible for all things with flashing lights, cables or buttons but I really consider my position to be one of helping our customers and company departments make smart use of technology. I studied Electrical Engineering in England before moving to California’s silicon valley where I worked for a number of high tech companies in support of large database systems. I’ve spent time as a system administrator in Windows and UNIX environments, database administration and architected the system infrastructure of a number of large scale n-tier applications in various locations around the world on behalf of an employer or as a consultant. My varied background has put me in good stead in my efforts to streamline our solutions to make them effective for our customers.

I’m originally from a small town in England called Chippenham in Wiltshire, it’s a fine place with much greenery, music and fine food. I’m married and have three wonderful children. Outside of work, I compose and perform Celtic Rock music with my wife who sings.
