Patrick Visser

Patrick Visser, Regional Account Manager – Central, brings more than 14 years of healthcare IT sales management, consulting and business development experience to Tripractix. Mr. Visser holds a BA and MBA from Western Michigan University and the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, respectively. Mr. Visser began his career in pharmaceutical sales for Solvay, S.A., Brussels, Belgium. In 1997, he joined the business consulting division of PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC), specializing first in healthcare IT solutions, and later in healthcare strategy. He was recruited from PWC by Whittman-Hart (MarchFirst) as a Senior Manager – healthcare consulting, where he led healthcare IT strategy, e-business and CRM projects for a variety of healthcare companies. In 2001, Mr. Visser joined Essential Group, a leading pharmaceutical Contract Research Organization (CRO) where he first held the position of Director, Contracts & Proposals and later, as Director, Business Development. While there, he conceptualized and led development of an IT solution to integrate CRO clinical trial patient recruiting with major pharmacy retail chains. Mr. Visser was then involved in a venture-capital backed, startup company as CEO and Principal. The company developed and marketed an IT software application that integrated pharmaceutical manufacturers with providers and hospitals/IDN’s. Patrick Visser has a diverse background in healthcare IT sales management, implementation and business development having worked with a pharmaceutical manufacturer, a CRO and prestigious consulting/healthcare IT solutions companies.
