• Interface Support
Karen Negron

Hello! My name is Karen and I provide Interface engineering and analysis services for our GE Centricity customers. Our focus is on Health Level 7 (HL7), and XML interfaces between Centricity and other 3rd party applications and products. I support all current interfaces and analyze feasibility of new interface projects. I also provide EMR support and analysis as it relates to the setup and configuration of in-and-outbound interfaces. During my stay here at triPRACTIX, I have also provided application support for the Practice Management product and was a project lead for our EDI implementation projects.

I received my BAAS in Computer Information Systems from Eastern New Mexico University and I am currently a graduate student seeking my Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science at Indiana University Purdue University here in Fort Wayne. I am also a Microsoft Certified Professional and a member of AWC-Association for Women in Computing and SWE-Society of Women Engineers. My work in Healthcare IT has been varied and diverse. I’ve had the pleasure of working in the field almost 10 years now. For fun I enjoy time with friends and family, writing fiction, and traveling when time allows. Education takes up a large portion of my time outside of work but I find time for fun!
